Get Crafty: Enroll in a Center for Arts & Crafts Class

With classes, extracurricular activities, social life and more, college can get very, very hectic. Luckily, there are a great deal of ways on campus to de-stress and take some time to relax. Penn State’s Center for Arts & Crafts, located in the Ritenour Building is one of the more creative ways to de-stress.

The center announced yesterday that registrations for Fall 2016 Art Classes are now open. The sex week sessions begin the week of Sept. 12, with session 2 starting on Oct. 24.

Session I and Session 2 classes include things such as Cartooning & Illustration, Textiles, Create Like a Master and more traditional activities such as Stained Glass and Pottery.

If you’re interested in the things above but don’t want to make the commitment of a six week class, the center also holds workshops that have only 1 -3 meetings.

Here is a list of the workshops offered this fall:

Lunchtime Workshops:
Plein Air on Campus, Paint Your Own Pottery, Porcelain Ornaments, Wreath Making, Holiday Card Making, Silhouette Painting
