Penn State Homecoming Continues the Week With Past to Present

On Tuesday, October 4th, the Hub was home to Penn State’s 2016 Past to Present event. Upon entry, the Hub was decorated in respect of the school’s oldest and newest traditions.

The homecoming committee described this event as a “celebration for Homecoming Week that allows us [Penn Staters] to look at the old Penn State traditions and incorporate new ones.”  The pink and black balloons were intertwined with the blue and white, to represent the joint festivities of the past Penn State with the present one.

With live Penn State singing performances, choice t-shirts for sale, a voting booth for Homecoming King and Queen, prize wheels, popcorn, cotton candy, and snow cones, which by the way tasted too good to be true, Penn State’s Past to Present event was a joyous and honorable celebration of just how far this proud school has come.
