The Penn State Performing Arts Council (PAC) is back again this year with its annual A Capella Sampler that will take place this Thursday in Schwab Auditorium. The event will showcase seven of Penn State’s A Capella groups: Shades of Blue, The Coda Conduct, Blue in the FACE, None of the Above (N.O.T.A.), The Penharmonics, Savoir Faire, and The Statesmen. In addition, The Singing Lions will also perform.

“The A Cappella Sampler is PAC’s largest event for the fall semester and the second event in the 2016-2017 Signature Series,” PAC President Walker Konkle said in a release. “By using this platform, we are able to host all the Penn State a cappella groups to feature their unique artistry for all to see. These performances are groundbreaking and entirely revolutionize the performing arts on campus.”

Tickets for the event are free can be picked up on the first floor of the HUB at the PAC table on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or from any of the performing groups.
