The Student Programming Association (SPA) announced that music artist, songwriter, and producer Jon Bellion will perform during SPA LateNight on Friday, December 2nd at 10 p.m. in Alumni Hall.

Bellion, a hip-hop, indie rock, and pop artist, is best known for his 2016 album The Human Condition, that was released in June of 2016 and peaked at #5 on US charts.

In addition, Bellion provided vocals for EDM artist Zedd’s Beautiful Now song and wrote the chorus to The Monster by Rihanna and Eminem.

For the artist, the main goal of his music is to inspire. Bellion states, “I want to inspire people to just go create. If someone hears my album or sees the cover and is impressed by the amount of time and creativity that went into it, maybe it will motivate them to go change the world. I might not change the world, but maybe I can influence someone who is going to one day. I just want to be a piece of the puzzle. Maybe I can be a catalyst for something positive.”

Students can attend his performance on Friday, December 2nd for free with a valid Penn State ID. Bellion is set to hit the stage at 10 p.m. in Alumni Hall.
