Pennharmonics to Perform Saturday Night
“Penn State’s premier a capella group” The Pennharmonics will perform their first concert of the year this Saturday.
The Pennharmonics have been a prominent a capella group on campus since 1993, initially made up of people who were not pursuing a career in music but had the passion to sing nonetheless. Since their founding they have released nine albums and have performed at various competitions such as the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella, and have also won numerous awards for their performances.
For their concert on Saturday they plan on “performing a cappella hits from today’s most popular artists, like Ariana Grande and James Bay, as well as other selections by Allen Stone, TLC, and more[.]” They will also be selling copies of their 2014 album Black Cloud Silver Lining and their 2016 EP The Penns.
The concert is free to attend and will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday night in 108 Forum.
