PAC to Host Collaborative Instrumental Concert Thursday

Penn State’s Performing Arts Council (PAC) will host the first-ever collaborative Instrumental Concert this Thursday featuring various student instrumental groups and soloists.

The concert is part of PAC’s Signature Series, “Empower and Create,” and will feature the Society for Indian Music & Arts, Penn State Flute Choir, Penn State Taiko, Michael Divino, Maeve Berry, Cello Club, and Penn State ROAR Brass Ensemble.

“This concert will showcase some of the most talented musicians and groups of the Penn State student arts community,” PAC Producer and Treasurer Matt Schiffman said in a release. “Each will showcase a different style of music to create an extremely entertaining night.”

Tickets for the concert are free and can be picked up at PAC’s table on the ground floor of the HUB on Thursday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. or from any of the event’s performers. The concert takes place at 8 p.m. in the HUB-Robeson Center’s Heritage Hall.
