Movin’ On, Penn State’s annual music festival will be launching its Musician Spotlight series tomorrow in the HUB. This series is in collaboration with the Student Programming Association (SPA), and aims to promote student and local acts.

For those that don’t know, Movin’ On is Penn State’s annual music festival that aims to celebrate graduating seniors who are “movin’ on” in their lives. The event is free of charge and provides students with a day of diverse music and events.

For the Musician Spotlight tomorrow, it will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the monumental staircase (better known as the High School Musical Steps) in the HUB.

The lineup for this event is as follows: Shalom Dubas, Intermission Improv and TV Dinners.

At 11 a.m., Shalom Dubas, a singer-songwriter and senior at Penn State will perform. She can be found on Twitter and Instagram at @its_shalom.

Next up at 11:55 a.m., Intermission Improv is an alternative Indie band comprised of Chris Dilks (drums), Andre Harner (vocals/guitar), Aishwarya Kumar (guitar), Zachary Martin (bass) and Anna Sostarecz (Vocals/flute). Their music can be found here.

Finishing up the series will be TV Dinners, an indie/folk duo of Dan Munck and Turner Blashford. They will be on the steps at 12:25 p.m. and their music can be found here.

From 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., a DJ will be performing and Movin’ On 2017 merchandise can be purchased.
