Balé Folclórico de Bahia is coming to Penn State this Tuesday, February 14th, 2017. As part of the Brazilian dance company’s eighth world tour “Bahia of All Colors”, the show will celebrate the different cultures of indigenous, African, and post-colonial peoples. The tour will happen on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Eisenhower auditorium.

The ticket pricing is as follows:
Adults $38
18 years and under $28
University Park student $15

This dance troupe made its debut nearly 30 years ago in 1988. It is known for showcasing traditional slave dances, capoeira, samba, religious rituals, and Carnival celebrations.

Balé Folórico de Bahia presents their world tour with highly energized performances to complement their colorful costumes. Their traditional clothing throughout the show may occasionally reveal partial nudity.
