Woskob Family Gallery to Host Contemporary Art Crash Course
The Contemporary Context will see the Woskob Family Gallery host a crash course in contemporary art.
This Thursday, (23 February) the Woskob Family Gallery aims to make contemporary art little easier to ‘get.’ Located at 146 South Allen Street, Penn State’s Colleges of Art and Architecture will partner with Kelsey Rieger, Art Alliance Gallery Downtown’s manager.
The crash course aims to help attendees ‘learn new ways of looking, thinking, and interacting with the artwork of our time’ (Woskob Family Gallery, 2017). Further, Rieger intends to address both meaning and viewing practices for modern art.
For any that ever stared at a contemporary art piece and cocked their head in utter confusion, perhaps this will answer some of your burning questions.
