Penn State’s Queer Trans People of Color (QTPOC) organization will host ‘Drag Her,’ the groups first annual drag show Thursday  at 8 p.m. in Heritage Hall.

QTPOC was formed as a “safe space for queer and trans people of color at Penn State to unite and have their voices heard through discussion and activism.” In the past, the group has sponsored events such as ‘Exploring Homophobia in Communities of Color’ as well as diverse movie screenings.

The show, hosted by Jerrie Johnson and RuPauls Drag Show finalist Naomi Smalls, will feature some of Penn State’s most famous drag queens including Hexxa, Acid Vag, Pearl of Arabia, Sweet Tea, The GAG, Matéa Vanity, Cashmé Oussih, and more.

The event is free of charge and will also feature an intermission voguing contest, an artistic dance started in Black and Latino/a communities in Harlem.
