SPA presents Wednesday Night Lights
To commemorate the end of football season, Penn State’s Student Programming Association will be presenting Wednesday Night Lights on Nov. 15 from 7 p.m-10 p.m in Alumni Hall.
SPA’s Special Events Committee is hosting a sports-themed event with a night of tailgating games. Students will have a chance to play cornhole, KanJam, and ladderball. As Homecoming Week slowly approaches, Mike Sitler, SPA’s Special Events chair, thought this event would be a nice wrap up to Penn State’s successful football season.
“We wanted to have an event to celebrate the end of the football season, so we thought ‘what better way to do that than with tailgating games and other fun sports activities?’,” Sitler said.
Students can enjoy soccer and football inflatables, as well as Speed Pitch. Speed Pitch can tell students how fast they throw a baseball.
This event is free to all Penn State students with a valid Penn State University Park photo ID.
